Faerie Ring take what would be a cookie cutter riff from anyone else and just JUICE it so thoroughly, with passion and energy and melodic interest and the all-important rhythmic groove (much more important to a good stoner riff than loud fuzz), that it just blows out your speaker and makes you mean mug. Guaranteed. I loved the wacky sounds they created in the studio that really push this over the edge from great into bonkers-great.
